Muireann Byrne attends St Fergal’s College Rathdowney, Laois. She is a member of Comhairle na nOg, a child and youth council which gives young people the opportunity to be involved in local services and policies. She plays camogie with Clough Ballacolla Club, and ladies football with Shanahoe Football Club, as well as with her school. She is an active member of the student council, and is very interested in art and reading. Her talk will explore her relationship with language and why she believes language is our most powerful tool.
